Hello, I’m paying £6 a month for Boost but I have no idea what it is, can anyone help?

You are not paying for the boost, the boost is to give you extra data per monthl if you use all your data up. You are paying £6 per month for your contract and then get boosts every month.

What TV package are you currently on?

The Boost sounds like it is for HD on NOW TV, or a Combo HD for NOW TV + up to 4K on TNT Sports if you have it.

This allows you to watch the channels in your package at High Definition and any included NOW TV content at HD quality also.

If you don't want it, you can remove it, but you will then have a reduced quantity of HD Channels and content on NOW TV.

I’m currently on the Entertainment package and I used to have TNT sports but I cancelled it, I have looked on NOW tv and it says I don’t have any subscriptions so do you know how I cancel it?

With the Entertainment package you should have access to the TV Shows and Boxsets, just not Movies or Sport etc.

If nothing is working, it would be worth getting in touch with EE Customer Services on 150 to see why you can't access NOW TV. If you choose to cancel your HD Boost, they should also be able to help with this. Just bear in mind this will mean you will not be able to watch some channels in HD by removing this.

As you are on an entertainment package, you do have an access to "NOW entertainment membership" and the Boost is a pass or membership that gives you an ability to watch in HD format or access to NOW Entertainment HD channels line-up. Boost also gives you the ability for two different people to watch the Now Entertainment channels simultaneously, whether via the EPG or Now app on an EETV device, or the Now app on any other device.

EETV loosely refer to non-Boosted Now as SD, but it’s actually 720p (‘HD Ready’) which Boost raises to 1080p (Full HD).

You also get optional 5.1 Surround Sound with it, instead of just stereo.

Please note that EETV does not yet offer UltraBoost; only direct Now customers can currently get this. But we are assured it is on its way from EETV; just not when.
