New Apple tv after 6 months free?

Yesterday I moved from BT TV to EE TV and agreed to take the Apple TV box. It comes with six months free Apple tv subscription. My question is at the end of six moths, or before, I don't wish to subscribe to Apple tv will my EETV continue or must I subscribe to Apple. Would I have been better with the EE box?

@MyBob38 The EE TV will continue, this isn’t the same as Apple TV+ and that’s the 6 month subscription.

@MyBob38 The current offer that EE make is Enjoy Apple TV+ free for 6 months when you select it as part of your EE TV package. That offer is not dependent on your choice of box to have. So you would have the same offer if you had chosen to have/continue to use the EE Box Pro rather than take the Apple TV box,
