TNT Sports Ultimate UHD 4K on Apple TV 4K

Apologies if this question has been asked elsewhere or the answer is just staring me in the face but I've had a search through some forums but unable to find a clear solution.

I have the full works TV package with EE while using the Apple TV 4K provided on an LG OLED C4. I definitely have HD/4K included in my package. However, when scrolling through the TV guide there is no TNT Ultimate UHD channel (channel 465) listed. I am unable to find any information as to why this may be the case or even if it can function on EE TV on Apple TV 4K.

Does anybody know a work around for this? I typically refrain from calling customer service as I'm usually met with long hold times and confusion (getting the TV package sorted in the first place took about 8 calls and hours of back and forth). I'd love to be able to stream football in 4K/UHD considering I pay for it so I'm hoping there is a solution to the TNT channel. Don't even get me started on NOW TV Ultra Boost compatibility. I called up EE to which the advisor had never even heard of it. I knew I was out of luck when reading the forums on here regarding those issues.

What do you see as the channel immediately above where 465 would be? And can you access it?

@DFjones2000 As an alternative whilst this gets sorted , the 4K/UHD broadcasts that TNT Sports Ultmate channel broadcasts would also be avallable on the discovery+ app as a UHD stream both as a live broadcast and as a on demand stream (availability/duration varies depending on sport rights)_ You might have to search for the UHD stream as discovery+ menu structure tend to promote the HD streams more prominently.

Thanks for the response! It skips from 463 (TNT Sports 10 HD) to 466 (Cartoon Network) so it’s just completely missing

Appreciate this! I wasn’t aware this was capable via the app as I’d just assumed if it wasn’t showing on EETV then I didn’t have it at all. At least this should keep me going until the channels get sorted. Thank you!

Sorry, forgot to mention that I do have access to the channel! Access to all TNT HD channels no problem, just no Ultimate HDR showing.

@DFjones2000 Is channel 433 also missing from your EPG guide ? (that is the TNT ultimate without HDR)

@Midnight_VoiceOther thoughts here - don't have the loaned EETV apple box myself so a bit spectualtive . EETV do have an HD and a HD/4K addon so possibly the wrong addon may have been added to order or the wrong one setup Also it is possible if there was insufficient broadband speed detected at setup time the 4K (EPG) channels may not have added to the EPG.

Thank you @DFjones2000 that is reassuring , as that suggests your order is correct and you have the HD/4K addon.

@Midnight_Voice Good point 465 (inclusion or otherwise in app) has a bit of history. - probably need one of the EETV guys past or present to explain.

Thanks both @zulu17 @Midnight_Voice appreciate your input here! I've tried signing out/deleting the EE TV app but to no avail so hopefully there's a solution available soon. Again, along with an update on Ultra Boost for NOW TV would be lovely

I see this is still the case now I have an EE supplied Apple TV 4K, the UHD version on 433 is present and correct, but no channel 465.

The device plays TNT Sport Ultimate content (including live), via discovery+ in UHD HDR as expected, so is this missing from the EE TV app guide by design or is it a defect?

Yeah this is my exact situation. From a little digging it seems like this should appear as a channel based on other posts I've seen. It's obviously not the end of the world having to move over to the Discovery+ app to view in UHD but would ideally like the TV guide to provide this.

Unsure on how I can get this sorted
