Sky Sports+ is an additional internet-driven background app which provides shortcuts to IP-streams of additional content.

Those IP streams are not linear broadcast channels that a recording tuner can tune to and feed to an HDD. Recording is only possible from linear broadcast channels.

How do I watch and record a different game on Sky Sports+ on EE TV?

On the EE TV Guide you can select to watch and record shows on Sky Sports+, but there is no option to select and record the alternative games.

E.g. there are usually a handful of mid-week EFL games shown on Sky Sports+ but only one is available on the TV guide. If I'm out and want to record my team's match, I can't do that if it's not the single one featured on the TV guide.

The Now TV app gives all the options of the games available to watch, but you can't record them outside the EE TV Guide.

Can anyone help with this?

@Ktjc You are not able to record any app content, So the Sky Sports+ (extra games ) that you access on the Now app are not recordable. The broadcast linear Sky Sport + channel would be recordable on the EETV Box Pro from the EPG but that would only be the main game (not the extra games).
