Different prices depending on location

Can anyone advise why package prices vary by location?

Am looking at taking out the full works package and have just moved house - the offer at previous address was £60 per month for a 24 month contract then increasing to £78, at the new address the offer is £25 for 3 months increasing to £78 for the remainder of a 24 month contract

Both are still available but one is circa £270 cheaper than the other

@CamBlue Is the old address a new connection or an upgrade because you are already a EE customer? And are they both the same network speed?

Thanks for response.

The old address would have been a new connection (in that previously was Sky). I do have a EE mobile and did wonder if the offer was as a result of that but I've changed address with EE for that and the offer hasn't carried over?

The previous owners of the new property had BT broadband TV and I'm comparing packages with the same broadband offer.

Any further insight welcome

EE tend to deploy some differing pricing strategies in particular towns/cities depending on the competition in an attempt to expand their acquisition in areas they traditionally would have lost out to VM and other altnets.

Generally this is seen in bigger city regions and is accompanied by a large marketing push (billboards, digital ads etc). Often marked by an influx of field sales agents in the area as well.
