ITV 2,3 and 4 in HD

Is there a reason why ITV 2,3 and 4 are not in HD? I can only find the channels in SD format. Is it because I am connected to freeview via the the aerial which is plugged in the TV Box Pro? Or is it because my TV is over 4 years old?

It’s because your box is connected via aerial instead of IP mode.

IP mode will get you itv channels in HD, but you can only record 2 things at once, cannot skip adverts on any itv channel recording and will lose a number of other channels that are only available with an aerial plugged in.
