I like it seems multiple others was explicitly told my user experience would be the same if not better when I switched from Sky to EE TV. I kept asking about Disney plus as that is the main movie channel watched in our household. I know discover that despite having a paid subscription to Disney plus there is no way to add the app to any of the this in the house. I have to say I also really regret the loss of my landline as I have elderly overseas parents who are clueless about using WiFi to call…my bad to get seduced by lower costs.

@Aligeecee only by having a EE Apple TV can you download other apps via the Apple TV App Store. It’s not available via the EE TV pro box and it’s not advertised as having it,

If you have a smart tv most of these have the option to install other apps directly on the TV.

If you haven’t got an EETV Apple TV box, and you can’t get Disney on your smart TV, then a Roku or Amazon Firestick device will let you add Disney to your repertoire for £30 (HD) or £35-40 (4K).

And while giving up a landline may not have been your choice, giving up a phone service certainly was your choice; EE offer Home Phone where you can just plug your existing phone into your router, and carry on making and receiving ‘landline’ calls.

This costs nothing if you don’t make calls, so you can set this up at will. (Maybe you call them from a mobile, I don’t know, and there’s some reason they can can’t call you on your mobile and so would have to use Skype or something), but EE will let you give them a landline number they can call at no cost to you.
