Unless the booster is badged EETV or supplied by them, it may not be compatible with, or at least not configured for, multicast.

Try the Box Mini in the place of the Box Pro, as a test, and see if it works OK or not.

If it doesn’t come up faulty, see if you can run it without the WiFi booster.

But if that’s needed for signal strength, then either get a booster from EETV, or give details of the booster here and see if any fellow-customer knows how to configure it correctly for multicast. EETV themselves politely decline to support third party equipment, but customer to customer support may be available.

Had EE tv and broadband for just over a week now. No problems with main box connected via WiFi to router which is in same room. The TV attached to mini box however flickers and drops signal quite badly for about five minutes when first switched on. This is in another room which has a WiFi booster in. Using EE supplied HDMI cable and have checked that this secure. Any ideas why this might be?

Thanks for the information. The mini box is badged and supplied by EE as is
the WiFi booster so I would they are all compatible and would work out of
the box?

Regards

Ken

I wonder if that has been fixed?

So try not using the booster anyway.

The problem I have is that other devices, like the Samsung phone I am using
now, also use the WiFi booster so don't want to take this out. I have
boosters because of issues with WiFi reach in our house. Maybe I should
raise the issue with EE?

Regards

Ken
