What are the distances between them?

I take it there’s no universal control option between box and telly using the tv remote via HDMI CEC control, or a third party universal general remote.

My TV is in a different room to my EE TV Box and therefore EE remote doesn't work as bluetooth too far away. Anyone with similar set up found a solution?
