Discovery plus activation

HELP!

I have been trying tom activate my discovery+ for over a month and in total I have spent 8 hrs trying!

I have the code to activate it on my tv screen but NOTHING works! I opened a discovery+ account that didn't work. I open the EE link that only trying to sell me a new phone. there in to prompt to add the code on any devices. I have tried doing on my laptop and phone and use different browsers.

I can't get through to a human being, chat bot doesn't understand. discovery can't understand it either.

I am paying for a service that isn't happening! but can't even find out were to complain!

Your account is showing that you haven't activated your subscription @hannah_love I'm not sure what code you're referring to on your TV screen, but please ignore that for now.

You should be able to log into https://ee.co.uk/, scroll down, and then select "activate discovery+". Do you see this? Following that process, you should eventually be taken to the discovery+ web site, where you'll be shown a form to fill in to create an account. As you've already created one, ignore that form and instead click the "Sign in" button in the top right corner. Once signed in, your EE TV subscription will be applied to the existing account you've created, and you'll be able to use that account to log into any other devices.

Having the same issue. Can’t activate discovery+ basic. Have found the activation button in the app but it doesnt do anything just reloads the same page. Any advise would be useful please.

@Sian19831 I'm told there have been issues from the Safari web browser on Apple devices. Would you be able to try a different browser on your iPhone, or from a different device? (I can confirm your subscription is there waiting to be activated)

I'm finding this a bit frustrating. I cannot see any button anywhere on my phone to activate my discovery plus.

Apple phone, or Android? If Apple, try in the Chrome browser (you may have to get it from the App Store) instead.

tried and tried to do this using a browser and also on the iPhone. seems impossible. when you pick the tv sport option to just takes you in a loop back to why choose ee tv. it just doesnt proceed to allow you to chose a subscription. a bit crap really. imagine how many people just give up. pretty shockingly poor IT in 2024.

Hi @HDJ7

Are you able to visit http://ee.co.uk/TNTSports to activate your subscription and follow the steps?

It will ask you to create a Discovery+ account- you'll need this to watch the TNT sports through.

Once you have done that, simply download the Discovery+ app and log in.

In case anyone still can’t figure it out, here’s how:

It wont work on safari. So go on the EE website on chrome and sign in and go to my plans & subscriptions.

Keep trying to get through if it comes up with any errors.

Then go to Sport & TV and scroll down to activate discovery. It then should take you to a new tab to create an account for discovery+

I had tried every other way before and it wasn’t working but hopefully this should sort it out for you.

I’ve had the same thing been trying for 3 weeks now all I get is we’ve had some problems we’re working hard to fix this for 3 weeks

ive also tried doing it on google chrome just the same

same problem for me - called the tech team at EE said i should be able to see "activate" but the option isn't there so cannot access content on discovery plus

same problem for me april 2025 - no "activation option" for discovery plus in the manage subscriprtions part of the ee app on chrome - called the call centre - they're looking into it - very poor!

This doesn’t work … I’ve tried to do it 3 month ago and again today it just simply doesn’t work. Look how many people are complaining it’s obviously an EE issue 😐
