I see MODERATE SIGNAL on mine.

What do you see, when it’s working well, and again when it isn’t?

But it may not be a strength issue, it may be related to local competition on the 5 GHz band your router has automatically chosen, usually 36, filling up in the evening, and you might want to switch it manually to a less crowded one.

Hi All

I have set up a mini box in our bedroom. I believe the wifi signal is OK. The TV works well during the day but when we go to watch it in the evening we keep getting 'no signal' and it will not load up the tv menus etc...it just will not work.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Hi @ahind21

Thanks for coming to the community 🙂

For the best Wi-Fi connection, it's recommended that your set-top TV box is placed within 5 metres of your router, with no more than one wall, ceiling or floor between the two devices.

Do you have other devices connected to the router when you get the no signal message?

If so, do they stay connected to the WiFi?

Leanne.

Hi Leanne

Thanks for the reply.

It is not possible for us to place the tv box nearer to the router as one is in an upstairs bedroom and the other is in the hallway of the house...connected to the phone line.

Yes...we have another TV box downstairs and this seems to be fine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Andy
