I regularly use EETV to playback shows that I am unable to watch 'live' and for some reason streaming will just stop part way through whatever I'm watching and just go back to the home menu. I start up the show again and am forced to watch it all the way from the start (which I don't because who's got time for that?) - why would streaming just abruptly stop? My broadband is as fast as it can be and there's no issue with that. I pay for a TV package that for the most part is ok but I just understand why it's so unreliable and just decides to quit like it does sometimes, I have restarted all equipment, made sure everything is up to date yet it fails and it's very frustrating.

Hi Darren,

It's a Humax (TV recordable box) BTTV digi box which is running the latest software

I don't think it's an app as such, I press the blue home button on the remote then search and start watching (sometimes)

It will be launching one of the apps on the box to play it - the channel / app name will be shown in the corner of the image for that programme. If you're unsure, let us know the programme you're trying to watch.

OK great. Could I ask you to please try launching the My5 app from the apps menu, and then find the programme within it - watch it from there instead. If the fault still occurs, it'll either return to the My5 menu or the EE TV menu - let us know which, as it will give us a big clue on where the fault is.
