topic eArc or any hdmi port in TV

My main TV and the one in the kitchen both have Sonos soundbars which recommend using the eArc port on the TV. I want to put my second mini TV box in a bedroom that doesn’t have a soundbar attached to the TV. Should I put the box into the eArc, or is it better in one of the other “ordinary” ports?

Thanks for any advice.

It won't make any difference - as long as the port you connect it to is HDMI 2.0 or higher, the TV Box Mini will behave the same.

Hi @HenryTudor8

Use the HDMI port.

The eArc (audio return channel ) port is designed to provide sound to a soundbar and in case you upgrade or buy a soundbar keep that port free.

Thanks
