Thank you for your response. Sadly it is not there, I did email them and they were very unhelpful. I have tried multiple contact channels and all were very unhelpful.

I guess I won't be developing anything that works with EE.

You don't need to develop anything specific for EE @AppleDeveloper - it sends all the standard Apple TV commands, plus there are some OS-level interrupts for the custom EE buttons on the remote. You couldn't handle them in your apps even if you wanted to.
