Apple TV 6 months free on Ee tv

So we are new to Ee TV and trying to activate the 6 months free. Using the app I click the activate button but I just get an error message. This has been going on the 3 weeks.

Any idea to help would be very great fully received.

Have you tried from a web browser instead? https://ee.co.uk/login/ (make sure not to use Safari web browser)

I just get a 400 error

What browser on what device?

400 means an excessively long request header, so you need to clear the cache on the browser.

If this isn’t something you are comfortable with, try a different browser, preferably one you don’t use very much, or at all, and see how you get on.
