Thanks Darren I've fixed it. It wasn't that, you just can't have two remotes paired to the same box. While my original remote was paired the second remote was only operating in a infrared capacity and controlling the internal BT box volume control. Depaired, disconnected and sorted now thanks for your reply.

EE box volume graphic

Hi

I was having trouble with my mini box so I did a reset. My remote wouldn't pair so I used the remote from my main box to complete the setup.

Now when I re paired the original remote, the volume indicator is a funny graphic at the top of the screen going from 0 to 100. The normal volume indicator for a Sony Bravia TV is in the bottom left corner and goes from 0 to 50.

The weird thing is that the other remote from my main box still gives the correct graphic, as does the TV.

Where's this odd graphic come from, is it the EE box volume? Any clues anyone? Thanks.

Hold down the Home and 9 keys on the remote until the light flashes. That'll re-pair it with your TV Box, at which point it'll behave the same as the other remote.
