When siting the pro box what is the minimum clearance required around the box?

Look at Safety and Legal in your Box Pro User Guide. That’s where the available information on this is given.

The main thing is to ensure that air can and does move over it, so it doesn’t get too hot.

Thanks, the guide is not particularly informative ie. don’t put in a cupboard or down the sofa! What minimum space is required for safety around the box? I have an open slot under the tv which is open at the front and back the clearence to the top of the tv box is 1.5 cm is that satisfactory?

Welcome to the community.

I'm not sure that a 1.5cm gap would be enough space for ventilation. I'd suggest a minimum 5cm clearance for the EE TV Pro box.
