Freeview Channels not steaming - other apps are

I have just moved to BT/EE and have set up the EE Pro box. All the apps including Discovery+ subscription are working fine but the Freeview channels set up as streaming (no aerial) cannot be accessed via the guide etc. I get the IPC6023 network error even though the apps work fine and the smart TV works fine also.

Box is connected via ethernet cable to TPLink powerline connector.

Any ideas?

Are you able to connect the TV Box Pro directly to your EE Hub? Either with a cable, or via WiFi - even if just temporarily? The powerline adapters would be the first thing to eliminate from the investigation.

Yes connecting over WiFi did work but our signal from the router is weak. Are there alternative signal boosters or wired solutions that will work with the EETV box?

Powerline adapters can work too, but it very much depends on your house wiring and the product you choose.

It'd be worth factory resetting the powerline adapters and making sure they're connected directly into the mains socket (not on an extension lead, or surge protector). It's unusual for anything bought in the last few years not to work, unless your home wiring is complicated.

Unfortunately it seems to be a one off cost for the additional equipment

There are options. For Smart WiFi it's included as standard with the Full Works broadband package, available as a monthly add-on for other packages, or available to purchase for a one off fee.
