TV Box Mini Ethernet box flashes continuously

My bedroom located Mini Box is connected to wi fi with an ethernet cable. The connection flashes continuously which is annoying when it is "lights out". Is this usual or have I got a problem?

It's normal for the box to still perform some tasks when in standby. The lights can also be caused to flash when other devices on the network are active, depending on what equipment is connected,

If you go to bed at a regular time, you could adjust the power settings to put the box into deep sleep at that time - this should stop it.
