topic IPC6023 after renewal in TV

I have just renewed my TVsubscription with EE, but even though I have spoke to support a few times they are struggling to get one of my two multiroom boxes working. This all worked perfectly for two years previously. But now I continually get an IPC6023 error on one of the additional TV boxes. Last contact I was told explicitly that when I get a replacement mini box it would work. Box arrived today, but still no better. Can anyone suggest a fix?
