EE TV Smart Hub won't record a programme

My EE Smart Hub (SH20A) says it can't record the live MOT Match between Mexico and England on BBC1 on July 6th at 12:10am then says "please try again later". I have recorded BBC1 channels with no problem before. Is there some restriction between EE and FIFA? I have both the internet and a TV aerial plugged in so, I am assuming I am getting Freeview Channels via the TV Aerial. All other BBC Channels and all non-subscription channels are getting recorded OK

I am replying to myself as I meant to say "Is there an agreement between the BBC and EE not to record this match on EE's storage"

@TelReed , I have just checked the BBC1 program via the Radio Times, and I cannot see anything about MOT Match on the 6th July, not sure where you are seeing that.

You should ber able to record it, but probably not showing as yet, it is showing on my recorder and TV, no idea about EE TV, as I do not have it.

@TelReed there are never agreements to allow/reject recording on a per-programme basis. The rules are channel based. Please try again nearer the time - it's possible that the data in the TV Guide is only provisional.
