EE TV Sport subscriptions have never come with HBO Max Entertainment - in fact none of the EE TV packages include HBO Max Entertainment, as it's not a package that EE can provide/sell.

If you have a Now TV Entertainment package then you can ask Now TV to provide access to entertainment as part of the subscription.

If you previously had access then that would only have been an error by HBO Max.

I have a EE TV sport contract..when I took this out I was told if have Hbo max. I have emails saying welcome to HBO Max from back in March. I have watched series on HBO Max (eg. The Pitt) - I can still watch TNT sport through HbO max. But everything else on the TV app says "get access" now and I can't watch it? Has my access changed without me being informed? Any ideas as to what's going on?

Man, this new TV set up makes me feel so old and decrepit! Right, so when I signed up for EE TV and TNT Sports and I got a Welcome to HBO Max email at the same time, this was nothing to do with EE? I know I signed up for a Now TV separately, so I must've got HBO with that? So this means when I sign on to HBO Max app through my EE TV Box, its not the same HBO Max app that I sign on to through my TV? That gave me access to The Pitt etc? How are you suppsed to keep track of all these apps and accounts? I work in IT and have loads of accounts in my work but never get so confused as this stuff is making me.

I've now signed up to Apple TV for the 6 month trial and get a Activate your Apple TV link in an email, whihc takes me to EE TV site, but doesn't say any damn thing about Apple TV! How do I watch it, how do I know it's been activated?? I've almost had enough. I think when the rugby season finishes I'll cancel it all to avoid any more unnecessary stress and confusion. It's only bloody TV after all. Thanks for replying.

Thanks DarrenDev, I've now found that the HBO Max account with entertainment is through my Now TV - using a different email from the TNT Sport package, so yes, I have to sign on to that through my TV.

Now to solve the Apple TV conundrum.

If you would like to merge the HBO Max subscriptions onto a single login, email me at eetvsupport@ee.co.uk with your EE account number.

I'm not sure about the Apple TV process I'm afraid, but if it's possible to copy the link from the email then try pasting it into a new "private" or "incognito" window in your browser and see what happens.

Thanks for that. I'll email once I've found the account number 🙂

The link "Activate your Apple TV" is just https://www.ee.co.uk/go/login and I can't find anything on the site or in the app.

Will try the help linked on that email tomorrow.

thanks again

Ah ok. After logging in, select Products & Subscriptions, then TV & Sport. On that screen, you should hopefully see an option to activate Apple TV.

Ironically, the EE site will not load over my superfast EE TV broadband connection.

There's definitely nothing in the app to activate anything. Unless I'm going blind as well as stupid 🤤

Once you've found your account number (or you can also email me the serial number of your router), email me and let me know the EE ID you've logged into the app with. I'll check everything lines up.
