Can anyone understand why my EE TV box has to have a full hard reset every time I turn the TV on? (Pressing the button for X amount of seconds on the box).

I get error code YVM104 - Which is internet related. I've swapped out the CAT5 cable and tested my internet speed 600+Mbps... The internet isn't the problem. The box is hardwired to the router.

I just want to watch TV and it's a pain having to do this every time

Thank you for any advice!

Hi @N_i_c_k

Which router do you own as it maybe your router port is sleeping or in some cases there is a delay before the ethernet port activates.

Try over WiFi to see if you get the same issue.

Thanks

Try disconnecting the ethernet cable for a moment instead of rebooting - it should fix it quicker.

I believe there's a known issue that devices can fail to connect immediately after waking up, although I thought it was supposed to recover itself after 30 seconds.
