It's not possible to obtain more than 2 mini boxes (3 boxes in total on one account).

When a box is knocked off, it'll prompt a message saying you have too many boxes. Select the button shown on screen and it'll bring a subscription to that box (and take it away from one of the others).

Note that if the subscription is taken away from the TV Box Pro, recordings of internet and subscription channels from that box will fail.

I have a full broadband with full fibre 1gb download and EEtv. I currently have an eetv main box with 2 mini boxes on my existing contract. System all works fine but we have other rooms where we would dearly like to be able to access tv services via our eetv package.
I have 2 questions-
Can I get any additional mini boxes added to my service?

if I were to add an additional box purchased through a 3rd party, I have read on some forums that to operate the 3rd mini box it will remove 1 of the other boxes from the system. Will it choose a box randomly or does it always knock out the same box?! Reason I ask is that we have a couple of minis in bedrooms that are only used occasionally so I’d like it knock out one of those so we are not faffing about resetting the main tv”s all the time.
I don’t want to go down the smart tv app services route.

So can I obtain another mini box from EE (a 3rd box)?
Is it is easy to re-establish connection with the mini box that has been knocked of previously or will require inputting of passwords/pin etc?

Thanks Andrew

Sent from my iPhone

Ok thanks. Geez. Am I the only person who has more than 3 tv’s? Seems crazy that EE don’t offer a service/subscription for familles with larger properties.
Is there a work around?

No workarounds I'm afraid, other than smart TVs or smart devices connected to them.
