. Thanks JimM11, I suspect I’m going to have a problem! I have a few Qboosters but the one mentioned is hardwired into a box though. The sky eng did this to allow me to take WiFi up to my office which was cool of him actually.

ill give it a go when the transfer happens next week.

Hi. I’m changing to EE BB but keeping my sky tv package for now. I have a booster (garden cabin) hard wired into my main Q box that I use for connecting a ring camera and my laptop when in the cabin. Does anyone know if this will still function once I change to EE ???? Thanks

I would expect it to work as the tech is not changing however if there are any problems I would not expect EE to be able to diagnose any issues with coverage using it. EE does have their own WI-FI boosters however these are intended for in home use only but I am sure would work in a similar way.

Sky Q will require to be reset and will now need Network settings adjusted to work on a Third Party Network device, you will find out HOW to do that on the sky Q Help site!

Sky Q permanent connectivity - Basic checks | Sky Help | Sky.com | Sky Help | Sky.com

NONE of the sky boosters will work with an EE supplied hub so when you say standard it CANNOT BE A SKY ONE! Make sure it is NOT one off those from the link below!

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-booster-what-do-you-need-help-with

You will need to go source something that will work for you!
