Thanks for this Chris:

Restarting the Box Pro seems to have done the trick - aerial signal feed through to the TV is stable and back to normal.

I’m just wondering if anyone has experienced any issues with the TV Box Pro in terms of the aerial pass through feed to the TV?

My aerial co-ax cable is plugged into my (several year old) box pro, with the pass through setting to On, to feed up to my TV via another co-ax cable. This has worked perfectly until the last few weeks (I only tend to use the Box Pro to playback recordings).
I’ve had a few issues recently where the signal quality when watching DVB on my TV with the Pro box in standby, has really dropped significantly causing drop outs.
I’ve never had an issue before so I’m wondering if this is a problem experienced by anyone else with an ageing TV Box Pro or not.
Also found in general that the box is becoming very glitchy: e.g. playing back a recording in progress and ffwd through ads, the box has simply stopped recording.
Any suggestions welcome.
thanks.

Hi @Traynor78

Could you try these two things and report back on whether it improves please?

1. Go to Settings > Power & Standby > Standby Mode > make sure 'Smart' is enabled.

2. Turn the EE TV Box off > Unplug it from the wall > Wait 30 seconds > Plug it back in and turn it back on.

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

Thankyou: I checked and confirmed the box was in the Smart standby setting.
I’ve rebooted the box as you suggested - the DVB signal was again dropping out just beforehand directly on my TV.

Seems to be stable again now and will see how it goes over the next day or two.
The issue comes and goes but it has been getting progressively worse and more frequent for the past week.

cheers,

Paul T
