Well the recording would have physically existed on the TV Box so deleting it on the box would have cleared any hard drive space it occupied and it would be no longer watchable. As the TV box and your linked mobile devices EETV app are not physically linked but your app data is fed to/received via Youview/EETV your problem seems to be due to some issue with that interface or their caches.

Further to my precious thread - https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/TV/New-EE-TV-app-on-iPhone-New-problems-old-ones-remain/m-p/1573099#M14005 I now have a new problem with the EETV app (or my account)

We had a recording from a while ago which has been watched and deleted from the EE box. However the recording is still listed in my app.
No matter how many times I delete it, it comes back after a short period.

This affects both my iPhone and my wife’s iPhones on EETV app 7.0.1 and my old iPad on 6.4.3

Seems the answer is to reboot the box and to delete the recording before it has finished booting up.
