New TV plug to short

Hi, we have new EE tv and are setting it up but the power cable plug that goes into the main TV box but the plug length is to short to reach where we need to plug it in. How can we get a longer plug that is the same and safe ? Thanks

@Mcmx Go buy a mains extension cord off the length you require so you can plug in what you need!

This is what I am trying to do but none of the plugs seem to be the same wattage & voltage of the one we have that's why I am asking where I would get one the same but longer ?

@Mcmx I think @JimM11 means you’ll need to purchase an extension lead.

That's not what I am wanting/needing it's the same kind of plug but a longer length so I can put it through the hole in the wall to hide the wide. Sorry if I didn't make that clear in the original post.

A longer cable isn't available, and for legal/safety reasons, it wouldn't be possible to recommend any other option to you on here.

@Mcmx Look on amazon for a barrel cable extension socket cable, you will just need the size off the current connector!
