Wondering if someone could help me here. My box pro is currently connected to WiFi I have the basic channels and what I paid for. My mum loves watching the drama Channel and only way I can get this is by connecting to the aerial. If I connect to the aerial would I benefit in ways? Would I still get my paid for channel's?

You'll need to factory reset after connecting the aerial. If you have a good aerial signal then you're mostly better off using it, as you'll get more channels and you'll be able to record 4 channels at the same time. You'll still get all your subscription channels delivered over WiFi, in addition to the Freeview channels via the aerial.

Why is it you can't use all your subscriptions via aerial? It seems so restrictive considering I've recently had to do a reset and its a very laborious process that relies on wifi.

What is the difference between a digital aerial and say a Sky dish 🤔

I now realise a sky dish does is not compatible with streaming services.

Therefore, I now realise there is a basic lack of functionality on a pro box compared sky's platform.

A recent reset left me taking upwards of 2 hours to complete. Re establishing wifi connection resetting the hub, laboriously typing in lengthy passwords. With Sky, unplug for 10 minutes, plug back in 10 minutes later off you go.

Without the exorbitant exit fees , £1400 in my case. You've got a 1 month cooling off period, far too short a period to assess, contrast and compare. I wish I'd jumped when I had the chance.

All this from, effectively, British Telecommunications and the untouchable Openreach. I'm sorry I really am. I wish I could say I'm surprised sadly I'm not.

A reset shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes, and most users should never need to reset. Unplugging a box for 10 minutes isn't a reset - it's a reboot. What were you trying to achieve with the reset of the TV Box Pro?

If you could mention what functionality you are missing from the TV Box Pro compared to the Sky box, I can comment on whether it's something that needs further assistance, or whether it is genuinely something we don't offer.
