Introducing Watchlists on EE TV – Available Now on Apple TV 4K!

We’re excited to bring you Watchlists, a brand-new feature now live in the My TV section of the EE TV app on Apple TV 4K.

What are Watchlists?

Watchlists offer a simple and smart way to save, organise, and return to your favourite shows and movies across multiple streaming services—all from one place. It’s a modern alternative to traditional recordings, making it easier than ever to keep track of content you love.

Where can I find Watchlists?

Watchlists are located in the My TV section, accessible via the side navigation bar.

Note: Purchases and rentals have now moved to a dedicated "Purchases" tab.

What can I add to my Watchlist?

You can add any content available in the EE TV app to your watchlist — including on-demand (VOD) and future linear content.*

Key Features:

Unified Access – Browse, manage, and watch saved titles from a single interface

Upcoming Linear Content – Save upcoming programmes that automatically convert to VOD where available*

Multi-Partner Integration – Add titles from BBC, ITV, NOW, Apple TV+, and more**

Personalised Lists – Create and manage up to 10 separate watchlists, perfect for different moods, genres, or even family members

*Availability of VOD depends on content partner.

statement could be better explained as not sure that content surfaced is immediately obvious to a normal user.

How do I add programmes to my Watchlist? I cannot find any options to do so.

@brianshep when in the EE TV app, simply highlight the programme you want to add, and then long-press the centre button on the remote. A menu will appear, offering the option to add to watchlist.

Thanks Darren.. that doesn't seem to work for me for some reason. I have been in contact with EE (1 hr 3 min call!) regarding another issue (my box won't record the Tour de France Live programme.. apparently a known fault) and mentioned the Watchlist. The agent told me to press the Info button and it should offer the option there.. it didn't. I'm being told (on-screen) that any On-Demand programme I watch will automatically be added to the list.. will have to wait and see. Thanks again.

Ah - you've missed a key point. This feature is currently only available on Apple TV - not on the TV Box.

Is there an easy way to arrange the watchlist in alphabetical order without having to add and remove programmes?
