Resuming Live TV from pause screen????

Hi, has anybody any idea on how to resume live TV from a pause? ...I know how to resume to play from where you paused it again by just pressing the play/pause button on the remote but don't know how to play it from current live if you know what I mean? It seems silly to have to FF it to get to the current live time ...very frustrating and apparent waste of the back button!!

I have seen change channel/change back (Up/Down on the programme toggle) reported as achieving this, though I haven’t actually tried it myself.

What a waste of time. Why is there not a quick back up or resume to live button??
