Hi @Peteb1973

Welcome to the community.

Could you check to make sure the aerial cable is attached correctly at both ends please? It's also worth checking to make sure there are no kinks in the cable.

If it all seems fine, and you're still having problems, try restarting the TV box.

@Peteb1973

The usual way of setting this all up is to have the TV Aerial lead into the box & then another lead from the output socket of the box to the TV's aerial input.

This does require that the Antenna Out is set to ON in Picture & Sound in the settings.

Some might have a splitter to split the aerial feed to both the box & the TV but this can drop the signal strength and for some this can cause a problem.

With these boxes a weak signal or an overly strong signal can cause similar effects as the tuners on all the BT/EE TV units are not as solid as they should & nowhere as good as in a TV.

Go into Setting & TV Signal Quality and see what the quality & strength figures are on one of the channels having the problem. Ideally we want 100% quality and , say, 80-90% strength.

Based on this what is your setup and what figures do you get strength & quality as I've mentioned above?
