The two boxes are adaptors to connect up. Last night the problems
totally disappeared for 3 hours. This morning it is even worse
with the pixilating lasting longer.
Cottonhead.

Hi @Cottonhead---

Welcome to the community.

I know how frustrating it is when you are trying to watch something, only to see if breaking up.

Do you have EE TV? If it is, are you using the EE TV Box Pro, the EE TV Box Mini or the Apple TV Box?

Is the box connected by Ethernet cable or over WiFi? If it is WiFi, how far away from the router is the box?

The new hub is 12ft from the computer but have been supplied with two signal boxes to connect up.(Plugged in

to power supply) More sockets!!!

I have been watching this afternoon just the same with regular added CLICKS!! After calling

for advice I was told that my Fire connection (for watching You Tube and IPlayer) could be the trouble

but disconnected that and made no difference.

When you say that you were sent signal boxes, were they discs to extend the WiFi range or powerline adapters, which plug into the socket and connect to the router and tv box by ethernet cable?

If it is the powerline adapters, it is worth giving them a try.

I had a similar thing with my TV when I signed up, particularly on the sports channels, and got the powerline adapters, which have worked perfectly.

Yesterday I had my eetv package cancelled as of 14/05/26 due to being a new customer 18/02. Since then had new main tv box extra booster and numerous tech support reboots. The only upside is that they removed cancellation penalty. With two days to go the picture quality has deteriorated even more even with recommended self rebooting. Only thing I can praise EE/BT for is the UK based call centres which make customer service better, but unfortunately it doesn’t make the technical aspect as good as it could be.
