Will location of FF hub adversly affect TV?

I currently have my EE TV box connected by wire directly to the HUB which is conveniently located behind the TV.

On Tuesday we are having Full Fibre installed (hurrah!)

We want the hub to be re- located in the hall which Open Reach can do.

BUT will the EETV box work just as well when not directly connected to the hub? No thick walls or obstructions.

If necessary, we can stick to the behind the TV location but if it will work in the hall we need to prepare the space.

It should not make any difference.

That said until the kit is fully installed in your property then it will not be possible to say.

Welcome back to the Community 😊

It'll depend on the distance between the Hub and your TV, but if you do notice issues often Powerline adapters can be a good solution.

These use a combination of an ethernet connection and the circuitry of your home, and are a great way of getting a wired connection without routing cables around.
