Pairing remote

Trying to pair BT remote with older Blaupunct tv, remote controls some functionality but not on off. Following steps as pair the engineer who was out yesterday but still not working. Had to buy the remote myself too. Why some functionality works but not all?

@SteveC38 Just because some works it doesn’t mean all will work.
You’ll be better off just getting an all in one remote.

A genuine BT tv remote as advised by the engineer. Said the supplied EE remote would not connect. May just end up using 2 remotes.

Hey there @SteveC38 😊

If it's the Pro Box remote that you're using, then this should pair automatically with most TVs.

Like @Midnight_Voice mentioned though, we're not able to guarantee functionality with every TV model.

If you haven't already though, it's worth trying a reset on the connection as indicated on our help page here, as this should establish it completely fresh.

@SteveC38 Try using the code 2554 (Blaupunkt) with the BT remote, following the instructions on the help pages linked in @Peter_W ‘s post
