Free tv box on sign up

I signed up to EE on 09/09/2024. As part of my subscription I got EE TV, I was informed I would receive an additional free tv box inckuded in the subscription. When the order was created the additional box was missed off the order. The saleswoman contacted EE to request the box to be added to the order however the telephone advisor advised it could not be done at that stage as the order was still being processed and so it would have to be added later by logging into my account once the order status had changed. We have now recieved our tv box pro but not received the additional free box. I have logged into my EE account to try to order the additional free box but cannot find any way of doing this. Has anyone else had this issue?

Sorry for the error on the initial order @SteveMorse .

Everything you were told was correct, except for the "would have to be added later by logging into my account once the order status had changed" bit. You can order one TV Box Mini for free, but the only way to do it is give us a call - it's not currently possible to order online.

It’s well worth contemplating what would be involved with a major company like EE deliberately operating a massive fraud on its customers, and hoping to get away with it.

Never blame on conspiracy that which can more plausibly be blamed on cockup.

No, any EETV package brings you a free Box Mini along with the Box Pro or AppleTV that is the main box.

@Midnight_Voice EE changes their extra offer periodically.

eg if. I Look at the legal stuff I currently see

EE TV Extra Box Offer:

Offer available to customers who have a 24-month EE broadband plan and 24-month EE TV Big Sport or Full Works TV plan. Offer allows customers to add 1 extra box to their EE TV Big Sport or Full Works TV plan at no extra cost. This Offer pricing is only available to Big Sport and Full Works customers who take their TV plan from 13th December onwards. Extra box will be the Box Mini only. Broadband must have 30mbps minimum line speed and 50mbps for UHD content. Customers looking to take 2 extra boxes will only be charged for the second box. The price of the second box will be outlined in the price guide. More than one extra box requires 40mbps and 59mbps for UHD content. Offer to be redeemed in store, online or via our contact centre. This offer is subject to availability and can be withdrawn at any time. If you cancel your EE TV contract the offer will end. Service is for your personal, non-commercial use only and may not be suitable for under 18s.
