Hi, I’m currently in Spain with a contract that allows me to use all my data, minutes and texts for no extra charge, I’m lucky that I don’t need to buy a roaming pass. I need to ring my credit card company which is an 0800 number. Can someone please advise if I will be charged for this or whether it is included in my plan? Thank you

@FCS1 : It should be free but replace the leading '0' by '+44'. Even so, your credit card co. will also have a normal UK geographic no. (on its cards or website) that you can also call free as you may use your UK allowances there.

Costs aside, you might well find it tricky to call UK-0800 numbers from abroad due to the way they're billed - I would be interested to know if you're able to.

As mentioned, most companies & organisations have a "from abroad" number which is a UK geographical. Being a UK number, it would be inclusive within your allowances.
