I came out to Spain on 31/08/25 and when I went to set up a bundle for data abroad, it told me I already had data for Spain and that I would get 50GB per billing cycle. However, when my bill produced on 07/09/25, I’ve so far been charged at £2.59 for data per day. I’m confused why this happened.

£2.59 is the fallback daily charge for use of your UK allowances, if you don't have any other weekly or inclusive add-on in-place. What was the exact wording of "it" (what was "it"?) telling you that you already had data?

What's the name of your plan - All-rounder? Full works? Essentials?

Essential SIM unlimited.

I saw all about the pricing and when I clicked the link in my SMS I went on to buy the data add-on and it categorically told me I was already covered and there was no option to buy.

I clicked another link and it told me I have unlimited data in the UK and 50GB in Spain and that my data allowance resets on 7th September.

I'm sorry to hear about the confusion with this. As you are on an Essentials plan then you wouldn't be able to use your data without a charge in the EU. Are you able to access the link that advised this was included, so I can get this fed back?

You weren't charged £2.59 just for data per day. You were charged £2.59 per day for using any of your UK allowances in EU. This included making any calls or sending any texts. Do you make any?
