I have EU roaming as a free add on in my monthly bill, will I still need to pay the approximate £2 per day charge to use my data when I am in The Netherlands next month?

No if your plan includes EU roaming it will be free.

Just ensure roaming is activated on your account, text ROAMING to 150.

The £2.59/day charge is a fallback if you don't have any other add-on in-place - be that a weekly/12day-pass, or an inclusive-extra in your plan.

Be aware, it's not a charge to use your data - it's a charge to use any of your UK allowances. That includes voice calls & text messages too. Data is subject to a 50GB FUP per billing month,
