They are both in EE's ROW Zone 1.

You'll receive a Welcome text upon arrival at a country giving your roaming options.

If you are on contract, you may use your usual UK allowances in the EE ROW Zone 1 with up to 50 GB data per billing month if you have more, when you buy the Zone 1 Pass for £5 / day or £25 / week or already have it as an Inclusive Extra or you have an EE Full Works or EE Max Plan. Otherwise you will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/countries/usa.

If you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before leaving UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your no.

If you are on PAYG, just make sure you had already used your PAYG SIM to make a call or text in the UK.

Hi folks. I am traveling to Canada for 4 days then to America on the 4th day for a further 8 days then traveling back to Canada on the 8th day. Do I need to enable roaming for Canada and America or is there a North American option?

The default is global.

The reply above, is directed at the billing add-ons to reduce the cost of roaming. Many users get the two concepts confused, and it's a very common error to do so.
