12 day Roam Abroad EU pass

When I travel to an EU country wishing to buy a 12 day Roam Abroad pass, how do I buy it without first using my texts or data if I don’t have WiFi?

I understand I’ll get a text when I land from 150, but how do I buy the pass if I don’t have WiFi without incurring a £2.59 daily charge first?

The link to purchase add-ons is whitelisted abroad, enabling you to connect to it without any other billing cover for data usage.

If you connect to this page first and don't attempt any other internet usage before purchasing the weekly pass, it should be in-place before any other usage triggers the daily charge.

So does this mean if I click on the link directly from the 150 text and select the 12 day pass it should activate and I incur no daily charge for gettibg to that page?

That's my understanding, yes.

I wouldn't be too surprised if a purchase of a 7 or 12day pass overrides a daily charge, if purchased on the same calendar day - but don't quote me on that!
