If you are on monthly contract with EE, you may use the ESim , rather than a physical SIM card in the USA, but please make sure that you have text ROAMING to 150 to enable it on your account. No need if on pay as you go, but please also take a look here:

Neither of those devices support downloading an eSIM profile to the device unfortunately.
