Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.

Have you activated roaming on your account.

Normally you'll receive a text when arriving with the offers available (if pay monthly).

If you are on contract, you may use your usual UK allowances in the EE ROW Zone 3 with up to 500 MB data per day if you have more, when you buy the Zone 3 Pass for £7.50 / day. Otherwise you will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/countries/hongkong.

If you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before leaving UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your no.

If you are on PAYG, just make sure you had already used your PAYG SIM to make a call or text in the UK.
