EE eSIM Not Working in Dublin – Stuck on 3G, No Calls or Data

Hi folks, hoping someone here might be able to help or has gone through this before.

I just moved to Dublin from the UK a few weeks ago, and I’m still using my EE eSIM from the UK. My phone is showing full signal on 3G, but I can’t make or receive any calls or texts, and mobile data won’t activate at all. It just says the call has failed or “could not activate data service.”

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

Restarted the phone
Toggled airplane mode on/off
Reset network settings
Made sure data roaming is on
Tried manually selecting local Irish networks (Vodafone IE, eir, etc.)
I’m on an iPhone with an EE eSIM — no physical SIM

I’ve had no luck. EE support isn’t available until tomorrow, but I’m desperate to get this working in the meantime.

Has anyone experienced this with EE while roaming in Ireland?

Any advice or tips would be massively appreciated 🙏

Are both calls & texts also failing across each local network?

Are all 3 connecting to you to 3G and not any other tech?
