Roaming in Asia country - Vietnam

Hi EE community,

I will travel to Vietnam for 1.5 months. I know EE has roaming service for traveling in EU. I wonder if there is any similar package for Asia, like Vietnam. I will need to call and receive calls for work only. Currently, I am on Pay As You Go sim with 10GB package.

Roaming costs are available at https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs > Vietnam > PAYG. Daily & weekly passes are only available on pay-monthly.

Ensure you have used your phone in the UK before travelling, that's how roaming is enabled on PAYG.

Thank you. So if there is no package like ROAMEU1D or 7D for Vietnam, do you have any suggestion for a better option in reducing cost ( £1.80 per minute could drain my wallet for 30-minute call)

There is nowt like it outside EU on PAYG. There you pay per unit calls & texts & you need to buy data add-ons for data.

What you see on the Roaming Costs page is the best, & only, thing you can get with EE. You might consider a local SIM while you are there.
