Packages that state EU roaming included

Hi - I am out of contract with EE (always had EU roaming included in my deals) and have been offered an unlimited SIM only deal with EU roaming included. I have read some of the posts on here regarding the daily charge still being applicable. However, I have double checked with the customer service agent who has reassured me that the daily £2.50 charge will not apply when roaming in the EU as its all included in the package. Does this sound right - has anybody else been offered similar? I'd hate to sign up to a 2 year deal and then find that extra charges will apply.

If you have a mobile plan, which could be Full Works, All Rounder or Essentials Plus, that includes EU Roaming you would not be paying the default £2.59 daily charge to use your UK allowances. It's a case of either or!

It's an unlimited essentials sim only deal. I've been a customer for many years so I think it may be a retention deal. The other 2 numbers on my account which have a set amount of data are also being offered deals with EU roaming included and I have been assured the daily charge will not apply to them either.

EE have been offering retention SIMs as you describe, with free of charge EU Roaming (no daily charge), although it is impossible for any of us to know for certain what you have been offered.

These plans are typically 'under-the-counter' so to speak, with no public facing list to refer to.

If you were to take one of these either online or over the phone, you would have a 14 day change of mind period on said contract.
