EU Roaming query

Hi there,

I’m going on holiday to the Canary Islands in 2 weeks. I have a query around EU Roaming, since changes were made to Roaming last year.

I currently have 3 lines with EE :-

Ultd Mins, Texts and 40GB internet on my phone (taken April 2021)
Ultd Mins, Texts and 1GB internet on the family iPad (taken April 2021)
Contract Phone - Ultd Texts, Mins and 25GB my nephews phone (taken July 2023)

I know there would be a roaming charge on my nephew’s phone, but for my other 2 lines taken out, is the EU roaming still free?

My Bill says that I get unlimited minutes and texts on the two lines taken out in April 2021, but the app and website say both would be subject to a roaming charge. The website is saying that the two lines were taken after 7 July 2021 which I know is wrong

What is correct please? My Bill or the App/Website.

Plans taken out on or before 07/07/21 have inclusive EU roaming.

It doesn't sound like your plans would have been affected by the recent roaming changes and any plans which included EU roaming, still continue to have it.

@XRaySpeX has provided you the correct date but if you wanted someone to have a look over your account for peace of mind, our customer care team would be happy to help.

Just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before leaving UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your no.

Hi there,

thanks for your help last week. I just have one other query.

I’m able to data gift from all 3 accounts. Would I be able to gift data from the line that isn’t eligible for free roaming to one that is, before leaving the UK?
