Using mobile in Thailand

I am allowed to use my allowance whilst roaming in Thailand (zone 1) as I have a Full Works SIMO.

If someone in Thailand wants to call me do they call my mobile as a "local" mobile or do they need to make an international call?

@hawklord1978 : They make an International Call using the '+44' or '0044' prefix in front of your UK no. w/out the initial '0', e.g. '+44 7123456789'. They pay their network's international rates.

Thanks for the reply. I thought as I would be temporarily on the thai network I would be considered to be “local” but apparently not.
What about if I call a thai number whilst there? Do I simply call the mobile number or do I need to use country and area code as well?
Surprised that EE don’t know the answers!

You need to use country code prefixes as well. It's just that your charges are covered by the ROW Zone 1 Pass.

Thanks once again. I suppose if I expect to receive local calls it might be a good idea to use a local sim instead.

Receiving calls are included in your UK allowances.

Indeed so.

Equally anyone calling you from the UK, calls your UK mobile number as they always would and is charged accordingly.

The incoming international leg of all calls are covered by your add-on.
