Can't call out

I am in Portugal, i could call yesterday out but now am unable to. No issues with data.

How can I contact ee without calling them?

Email or what's ap or a chat with a person?

Please help as I urgently need to make calls.

In the first instance, try toggling flight mode and also manually select an alternative local network.

Thank you, I have tried all that. Turned phone on and off, changed network, etc.
I was able to call when i arrived but now can't. EE did a system update yesterday for me but today its not working again, just says call failed. Would be helpful if I was able to get in touch with them through what's ap or online chat with an actual person. All the chat does is give me a phone number.

Because I cannot make or receive calls via normal channels in the USA I contact Helpdesk via Skype on +44 800 079 8586.

I have the same problem, I’m in Lagos Portigal and haven’t been able to call out on EE only receive calls. Fed up trying to contact them and put through to stupid chat bots

@louisevh , @Tony2464 : It is well publicised in the News that there is a major intermittent power supply issue in the Iberian peninsula. This will obviously affect the local mobile networks. There is nowt EE can do to help there. Contact your local council (conselho) & find out what they are doing about it.

Thanks for your input, power cut was all over by then and all other networks were working normally.
