Hi Chris.

Thank you for responding.

I found that if I go outside and managed to get four bars, I can make a phone call!

I still cannot send text messages or reply to EE messages either
When it comes to changing the network selection from automatic, that just spins and doesn’t give options.

Thank again for any help you can provide.

Richard

Hi @richardhynd

Have you tried manually connecting to a couple of different US networks?

Did you swap the SIM while you were abroad, or before you went?

OK, thanks @richardhynd

Since you're able to make a call, the SIM must be set up for international roaming. Could you try restarting the phone please? You should see a list of available networks when you turn automatic network selection off.

Hi Chris.

Great news, changing the carrier gave me a better signal, and I am now able to make calls and more places.

The only thing I still can’t do is reply to text messages for instance sending a message to EE about my bill, etc.

Any ideas?

Richard.

That's great news, @richardhynd

What happens when you try to reply? What kind of phone are you using?

What happens when you try to send a text message to your own number?
